What is VOL-VCA and who is it intended for?
The VOL-VCA (Safety for Operational Managers VCA) is a safety certification that has been specially developed for professionals with managerial or operational responsibility in high-risk sectors, such as construction, industry and technical services.
The certificate is specifically intended for:
- Managers
- Team leaders
- Operational managers
For self-employed people (ZZP’ers) it is mandatory by law to be in possession of a VOL-VCA certificate. This shows that they can work safely and comply with the applicable rules in the field of safety, health and environment — especially at work locations where high safety requirements apply.
By obtaining the VOL-VCA certificate you demonstrate that you:
- Have insight into relevant legislation and regulations regarding safety, health and the environment
- You can recognize and prevent unsafe situations and behavior
